18x Leupold riflescope....(yes thats a groundhog out in the field)

was VERY hard to do though....gotta figure out the distance to keep the camera from the scope, angle of camera, i even played with camera zoom....very fussy for me...but my 40mm scope in 18x is somewhat fussy...if i lowered the power i bet it would been easier...and i larger objective may made it easier....but its doable!

Yeah i have. They sell pieces that attach to your camera for around 50 bucks also.

I put my video camera through my spotting scope, and it works pretty good. That is how I got all the footage I did.

Never really tried it, but I know some guys who do it and get some pretty neat photos and videos, I just never have the camera around enough to try. Now you got me thinking.......

Here's one I took through the rifle scope:

Here's one I took a few minutes later, without the riflescope:

Like Mauser said - not easy, but possible. Apparently, his cameraphone is a little bit nicer than mine. Mine is pretty ghetto.

not a cameraphone quik...Olympus Stylus digital camera...what rifle and scope is that?? very neat lookin rig...how far was the hog?? much better pic than mine! im on 18x at maybe 200yds to that hog...some reason he looks tiny out there...probably something to do with the lenses or zoom on the camera or maybe it did look that small through the scope...that was the only decint pic i got out of tons i tried getting...the hard part is balancing the rifle on the target and getting the camera angle and distance all right...

made my crosshairs look really crooked...now i gotta look at the rifle and see if my head is crooked or what! i never noticed till i took that pic lol...really didnt think it was THAT far off center! id say the bipod legs werent even, but you can see the rifle reciever..looks crooked from that as well...hmmmm lol

dang good eyes finding one of them elusive woods groundhogs!! certain fields i swear if they didnt have some holes in the woods i would have them all cleaned out....i can usually never see the woods holes like the one your shooting to..my farmers like to farm clear to the edge of the hill..woods start there and drop off quick...thats where the elusive woods groundhogs come from! lol
