I have a 60# setup that shoots 290fps.....and a 364gr. arrow.

I think it's almost 68FP's of KE.

You'll be fine;)

While it is a little on the light side for me personally, I am sure you will be fine. That set up should put out near 67 ft lbs of KE. That is well enough for a whitetail. Have fun nannywacking!!!

Droptine249, I'm shooting 70lbs., 28" draw, Carbon Express Maxima 250s, 100gr. 2 blade Rage and/or 3 blade Muzzy also 100gr., Mathews Switchback, seems your set up is somewhat like mine, I would say your WILL NOT have any issues with penetration, I took numerous bucks with this set up including a 200lb Illinois buck....GOOD LUCK!!!!!

While it sucks buying dress shirts, I love my 30.5 draw.

Combine that with a 101 and petty the deer or mack truck that gets in the way.

Drop here is some encouragment for you! ;)I am shooting my General at 60lbs 304gr arrow (easton lightspeeds 500 spine, 57gr. Rocket expandable head) 300fps. And I have no penetration issues! I was sinking my arrows as deep into the foam as Ben & Rob at our local 3d shoots over the winter! I have alot of confidance in this set-up!;)

Yes and no! I take the big chissel point off and replace it with the small one! I loc-tite them in place and I double the rubber bands, make sure they are straight and spin test them they are awsome!

I have to say that that setup is on the weak side as well.Not horrible and you should be ok but I personally prefer a bit stiffer than that.

Spine directly correlates to penetration but in your case,I doubt it will hurt you.

Yes the 250's are weaker than the 350's, I should be shooting the 250, but because I'm shooting them with a 100 grain insert, I had to bump up to a 350 spine.

And Drop, I don;t think you should have problems.
