i gotta ask whats it like to be able to see far enough to use binos. heck in my woods my farthest shot with shooting lanes cut is 30 yards.

Here's a good indication of what it can be like where I hunt. This was in mid-december (after leaf drop) and I STILL use binos a LOT. I see deer glassing sometimes before I'd see them with the naked eye. And it's imperative to be able to distinguish BB's from does, early.

Some people love them, but I'm like you and don't see a need for them where I hunt anyway (for deer).

My stands, they must be comfortable to allow hunting as long as I need to!!!! I have good bino's but they are pretty much useless on our place, it is so thick they are in shooting range by the time you get the chance to put glass on em....

wow looks like one of my setups. the funny thing is that i still carry a pair of binos but rarely use them due to me being able to seeclearly with out them.
