Great read Steve and the memories of the season, and the work and fun that came out of it will last just as long as the Trophy mount that eluded you, and make next years successtwice as sweet!
Sounds like a fun trip even tho you didn't get a bear.

I'd opt for bear, but thats because I have never hunted them before. But if the hunting this year sucks, maybe deer would be the better route.
