Do you hunt in the rain?

RE: Do you hunt in the rain?
It rains a lot here come Oct and especially in November. I hunt in it (especially during the rut)as long as the winds are not so strong that I am in danger of trees falling. I have a couple sets of rain wear and a nice set of insulated gortex clothing. If I am dry on the inside rain never bothers me.

I've got only a limited amount of days to hunts, so I'm there rain or shine. If I'm in my stand, I have one of those tree-brella. They really do keep you dry. Besides it almost never rains hard more than 30 minutes or so at a time. The deer movement between periods of hard rain is often high. This is often the best time to be in the woods. The pressure is light. The scent you put down walking into the woods has been washed away. The deer are moving around, getting dry and feeding before the next downpour.
Downpours is also a great time to stalk.
