Mastering back tension
How many of you have truley mastered shooting your wrist caliper release using back tension? It is something i have really been working on but have certainly not perfected it. Would like to hear from shooters that shoot this way and if you have a few tips. thanks guys.

RE: Mastering back tension
I'm working on it as well. I think its a lot more difficult to master back tension with a wrist caliper than the traditional "backtension" release. You always have that trigger that makes you want to punch, squeeze, pull, etc instead of using your back muscles. Thats my problem anyway.

RE: Mastering back tension
i agree ducsauce. i have days when i can do it shot after shot and other days that i feel like i am punching the trigger. its a fine line of loading the trigger with finger pressure and pulling through the shot and not actually punching the trigger. I have my spring tension set fairly heavy and i have my trigger set in my first knuckle groove. to me it is a matter of applying the right tension with the finger then pulling through the shot. still working on that perfect feel i guess. I agree Duc, it is harder to master than a standard BT release.

Yep and just add in a dash of target panic and you're pretty much screwed trying to accomplish this feat.[8D] I know.
