cutting shooting lanes on public property
I will be hunting a fish and wildlife area in Indiana
Is it OK to cut small limbs and sabling for shooting lanes. or is that a no no |
RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
Cut em....no one cares, unless you chop down a cherry tree :)

RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
The main thing you need to worry about in that territory is moving firewood. That's the no, no. Something about transporting ash bores.

RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
Ask the site manager for where you are hunting.

Hey bigtim6656 you can probably find the answer to your question here.
http://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/3199.htm Maybe there is someone there you can contact? I took a peek and couldn't find anything. Pretty cool website though. |
RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
I think you'll probably find that's a no no. If you want to clip a couple small limbs or something fine, but as far as cutting shooting lanes, that sounds like you're going to clear cut and that's a no no.

RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
As with all regulations, it will vary state to state.
In NYS it is not allowed. Steve |
RE: cutting shooting lanes on public property
not really clear cut more of cut a few branches to open a area up
