Default Acorn Rage- as good as advertised?

I was just wondering what some others experiences were with this attractant. I just bought a 5 1/LB bag. Whats the most productive way I should use it? To be honest though, for the price I paid for it, a small part of me is hoping its not nearly as good as advertised or I could go broke real quick.

My buddy used that stuff, he just made little piles with it. He said they ate it over the corn that he had nearby so it must be pretty good.

I know of 2 guys that have tried and it the deer loved it. 1 guy dumped out a 30 lb bag and it was gone in less than 24 hours. The other guy was seeing a nice 8 pt on his farm and bought some to see if he could get a trailcam pic of him. The next day his batteries were dead, card was full of pics and it had 5 different bucks there.

we tried it last year and have already bought 6 bags for next week. Gonna go in and put it out as we go in to hunt the stands. Nearly dug the ground apart to get the stuff. May just be luck, but definately saw results.

I'm skeptical. Sounds too good to be true. It's pretty expensive.
