More cresting.
I made 6 ofthese up to use with the longbow. I have 6 more uncrested for practice and feral hogs.28" XX75s. 500 spine, 4" parabolics, and will be carrying 125 gr. Magnus Snuffers. My daughter Lily helped. If you have ever tried guiding the hand of a 3yo while applying paint you will understand the blemishes. We had fun and thats more important than me being anal about pretty arrows.

TX--you have some talent man.

RE: More cresting.
Looks good, you're putting together some nice color combinations and band width variations.

RE: More cresting.
After you do the cresting do you use feather fletch tape, or the glue type??
|
RE: More cresting.
I've been using glue so far. Loc-Tite Super Glue Gel. There is a type that is rubberized. Its very durable and I've had great luck with it. I will try tape on of these days since I keep hearing its easier to refletch using tape.

Sweet Greg.

RE: More cresting.
Ive been using the tape on my woodarrows latly, ive had some expirences where the glue can smear paint, and you wouldnt wanna ruin that nice of a cresting job! However, i do use the same stuff (loc-tite super glue gel) for veins on my carbons. Very easy to use stuff.
