3D target

3D target
So.....my wife has offered to get my son and I a 3D target for the back yard. I have shot all types of box targets and know that there is a huge difference between them. Is there an equally wide range of quality in 3D targets? What is a good target?

I own a cheap 3d target that I wouldn't recommend, but I do go to several 3d bow shoots every year and by far the best targets I've seen are the Rhinehart targets. The arrow pulls out easy, which is important if you're practicing alot. They also seem to hold up well after alot of shots. I don't know about shooting them with broadheads though.

If your wife is paying...get a Rinehart! They are awesome targets, extremely easy arrow removal and durability that is unmatched in the 3D world. Hell, you could even get a T-rex if you want. The GlenDel hasn't impressed me either, especially the way they rape you with no lube on the price.

Check out the Rinehart targets. They make some of the best in my opinion. If your going to shoot broadheads, see the 18-1. It's guarenteed for a full year.

with all due respect, I disagree with SP. i bought a glen dell buck with layered inserts and my DXT passes completely through more then%50 of the time[:'(] the rest of the time it buries into where thenoc can't be seen tearing up my veins all this at 20yards pulling 63lbs IMHO

I really like the Glendale Gundeck but I also concur to check out the Rhineharts.
