Had another good buck show up on the camera. What do you guys think he would score? Age? I'm thinking 4.5yrs and 135 - 140

I was going to say 3.5 also, but compared to the 2.5 behind him in the first pic, it kinda had me going towards 4.5.

I think it is a high 130s buck....id say 138-139ish. 3.5 or 4.5...hard to tell, im leaning on 3.5 but thats a pure guess.

I have him breaking the 140 mark, but not the 150. Somewhere around 143. So that's 143 towards my Team's score......YA!!!!!

No disrespect GMMAT but have you ever seen a 150" 8 pt and I ask that in all seriousness not smarting off. I saw one once in Texas and it dropped my jaw! That buck just gives me a warm fuzzy feelin in my trigger finger.

We're close, I'm putting him at 141, not counting that little sticker, but I think he's only a 3.5 yr old deer, judging by what I'm used to seeing in here in OH-IO!!!

Hopefully we all will know soon. Thanks everyone for the help. I think he would go closer to 150 if he had some more mass, but that's just my guess. I have a 10pt (8pt mainframe) on the wall that grossed 162 as a 10, but grossed 148 as a mainframed 8. It had more mass, but kinda had the same frame with tine length.

All three photos are same deer, has a kicker on left G2 about 2/3s the way up.

I was just pokin fun though. I suck at guessing scores, to the point I usually dont try anymore. lol

IDK much about scoring... but last year when I asked you guys about my big 8 I was getting 120's....

I guess you're right T....but that center photo makes him look HUGE.

Aaron.....that deer (this thread) is a LOT closer to the one you have a photo of (the BIG one above this post) than the one you have a trailcam photo of. 120's was right for that deer.

No, but the buck on the wall only had a 15 inch spread.

Ok..just based on what I've seen 148.5, I was a little high on the first guess. The mass might be a little high since they always look thicker in velvet. If he has 3" circum X 8 then the 28 shrinks to 24. Also the brows are a little tough to get a fix on, so I chose on the high side. Regardless a 140 " eight is a great deer.
