Lumenock in Carbon Express Maxima Hunter.
Last year I bought some Lumenoks and noticed that they left gorves at the back of my arrow, I wasn't to impressed. When I bought the Max. Hntr. I thought that I could shoot the lumenoks with the bulldog collar and not have the groves at the back of my arrow, well when I shoot them the light goes on but them turns off. I tried taking the bull dog collar off and it worked fine. Has anyone else notice this with these arrows? Is it possible to use the Lumenok with the bull dog collar on or not?

Im having the same exact problem. Im kinda frustrated and may go back to Beman's. I spent allot of money on 24 arrows and to have the Luminocks not work properly is real bummer.

I have noticed that mine work fine without the collar but they are leaving those marks in the arrow. I used touse some made by Carbon Express and I cant find them this year. I originallyfound them at wallyworld. They worked just fine with the collar on.

Lumenoks crack the ends of your arrows as you have noticed and they do not work on anondized aluminum. You can gently file off the end of the anondization (is that a word?) on the end of the bulldog collar to bare aluminum, like a unibushing for an aluminum shaft, and they will work fine.
Or you could just scrap the lumenoks all together and use one of the many other lighted nocks that are far superior to the lumenok.
