Acetone and mineral spirits. Get a quart sized canister and let 'em soak (4 or 5 at a time) for several minutes. That oughta do it.

I use a "debonder"? I bought it at Gander Mountain. After you strip the wraps off you apply the debonder with a Q tip or or small brush and let it sit awhile. Then it is easier to get the residue off.

I use Goo Gone. Spray it on and wipe with a paper towel. Sticky stuff is gone in seconds.

Acetone works well for me also.

Will the acetone have any effect on the carbon shaft (bonding agents).

Acetone should do the job, but don'tsoak the arrow for too long, for the reason BobCo mentions. I usually just dip it in for about 1 second.

Correct, i just dip it in for a sec and wipe with a rag until its clean. The old adhisive disolves pretty fast.
