Target bucks of 2008
 

Kind of stole this idea from another site I frequent. A lot of us are into trailcams and perhaps you've already spotted the one you're going to try to put a hurt on come season opener. Well, all your buddies at HNI wanted to see and wish you the best.

Post up your targets for the 2008 season so we all can follow along.

I posted a "similar" thread a while back......trying to find out what the percentage of bucks captured on trail cam photos were actually taken by HNI'ers ever year. I was surprised to find out that hardly ANY were actually harvested.

I wouldn't let that influence how I hunted.....because I've had some limited success in this area. I have preseason photos of both bucks on my wall.

I think this aspect of the overall "hunt" is fascinating.....and I hope more people get to experience this. Unfortunately.....I won't be one adding to this total, this year. I have NOTHING on game cam this year that I'm targeting.

Good luck to everyone trying to score on one they have already seen and know is out there. It sure makes it exciting.;)

Still working on getting a cam pic of him let alone glassing him..... You know who I am talking about though... Last known account of him was the shed I found... [X(]

Sorry man...wasn't trying to duplicate any post, just thought it would be interesting to see.

Last year I had trail cams of both deer I took prior to getting to hunt them. A lot of guys I know well follow deer all summer long and actually are pretty successful in the early season. Once it hits Oct 15th, it gets more difficult.

Hopefully we'll see some success on this post. So, Post'em up boys/girls.

I'm interested in following this one. Mine was "in the past". This one is "current".

i have no pic as i have no trail cams. But i am looking at a huge buck a month ago i was watching him in a field by a road and a guy who stoped told me he counted 11 points. And that was a month ago in full velvet.
I figure he is 140 plus. now

well i'll start it off. this is my 08-09 target buck. he's an 11 pointer. just shed his velvet the other day. alittle over 1 week to go!
