Yea, I have seen them shedding the velvet too. Found several rubs this weekend and saw one little guy with 2/3 of his velvet stripped.

Still in velvet here in PA but I'd imagine it's starting to dry, antler growth is done and they are what they are.;)

Yep, usually right around Labor Day. By the 10th most will be shed, like Rob said, they are what they are now.

We still have velvet on into October, most years. I guess that can really vary depending on vegetation and weather.

Droptine, i just got these videos today sep 1st. i have video of him in velvet on saturday and he was out of velvet on sunday night. hes the only one though. the others still have it.

In Mckean County, PAonAugust 25th I saw 2 bucks with hard bone, and I had 3 other bucks with velvet still on.
