Default Alpine bows

Does anybody have an opinion on alpine bows? My buddy is wanting to get into the sport and had a shop try to sell him a used alpine at a good price he says. I was wondering if there were pros/cons to alpine bows out there so I could inform him. I havn't had or shot a alpine so I am of no help to him.

Default RE: Alpine bows

My wife shoots an '05 Alpine Impact X-treme. It used to be my bow. I made my first bow kill with it. It was inexpensive and not a bad bow at all. I changed the limbs out for her. Went from 60-70 to 40-50. With the DL adjustments it was easy to make right for her and if I want to I can set it up for me again. I wouldn't pass up a deal on another Alpine.
