Shortening the draw length
 

Is there any way to shorten the draw length on these older bows..?

It depends on the bow and how much you need to shorten it. sometimes you can get away with putting a shorter string on, but that won't get you much. A 1" shorter string ( as short as I would go) may yeild you a net of 1/2" reduction in draw length. Some bows have provisions for draw length adjustment built in,but without having the bow in my hands I couldn't say what your situation is.

I don't ..I was just hearing alot about people adjusting their bows..and I was wondering how you would adjust one like mine..I believe you are right..it would have to be a shorter string..
