That is a stud for sure....That is the buck of a lifetime!!!!
The pic's were taken on the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in North Texas. His estimated body mass was over 300 pounds.Though hunted by many,he died of old age.
Very interesting, I didn't know we had any deer of that bodysize in this state. I thought they all came from the mid-west. Either way, he is a moss back stud!!!!
The Dakota or borealis subspecies were transplanted to Hagerman Refuge about fifty years ago, many big body bucks come from that area.

very nice looking deer but to me that looks a bit fishy... not saying its not true but infront of the left year towards the snout it looks like another ear.. But maybe not and if not, thats one he** of a nice buck!

Holy Moly... I'm not sure if I would be able to aim straight with that in my sights? I would probably just get that glazed thousand yard stare, forget Ieven have a bow in my handand it would just end up walking on by, lol..
