Just out of curiousity, what season are you all going in to?

How many of us are going to be bowhunting for the first time this year? I am and it sure seems like there's quite a few of us!

4th yera and hopefully i dont get a tag sandwich... I'm 4/4 with deer now so hopefully i'll be 5/5 after this year! Good luck all and wear that safety harness because it only takes one tiny mistake

We have two season in Texas, archery season(1st Oct.generally)and general firearm season (1st of Nov.Usually). This will be my 13th season to hunt both seasons archery only!!!!! Last year i did start hunting with a rifle again, my 7 year old daughter wanted to hunt, so I sat with her some and she got her 1st buck (long horn spike) with a rifle. Other than that I will always be hunting with archery equipment until I can't do it anymore...Good luck to all this fall....

This will be my 22nd year hunting and my 20th bowhunting. I still have a lot to learn and doubt I'll ever learn it all. ;)

GREAT! As long as you don't take into account the fact that we lost and our defense was terrible.

To be honest though I wasn't too upset...Mizzou is AWESOME and we got back in it. Juice had a heck of a game. I'm pretty pumped about this season.

well tomorrow is goose season i had planned on giving it a try but i have not had a chance to scout for some birds. Deer starts in month from tomorrow. Squrrial kicked in two weeks ago.

This will be my second bow season third haveing the bow but i did not hunt my first season since i moved in sept.

I plan to get a muzzleloader and give it a try

This will be my 20th year to bow hunt, butI've been reallyseriousabout it for 9 years. I've killed more deer with my bow in the past 7 years than I did the 13 previous. I've been a deer hunter for 26 years. I really didn't start an interest in deer hunting until I was 18. Before then, Iprimarily hunted ducks and squirrels.Our dove season opens next Sat. 6thand Teal season opens the following Sat. My archery season opens Oct. 1. I'm just ready to hunt anything. I'm going to my property in the morning to do some filming. That will pacify me for a few days. Hurricane Gustav is going to hit us Tues. and Wed., so there won't be too much outdoor activity done next week.
