This morning I was shooting at my neighbors, I made him switch the sides from the dots to the deer so I wouldnt Robbin Hood my arrow, Well

After a few shots I was hitting pretty good then I shot another and Heard one heck of a noise, my neigbor was like I think you took your fletching off I walked up and sure enough, there goes about 35 dollars quicker than heck.

$35!!!!! [:-] You've GOT to be kidding!!!! I don't have but about $5 a piece in my arrows, so if/when I do it, I snap a pic and throw and arrow away. Good shooting, but if you've got $17.50 each in those arrows, there ain't no way in hell that they'd stay together if I owned them.

the 35 dollars is just a guess, I figure a dozen with wraps and fletched was around 160 170 something like that divide it by 12 and i was just using mental math I'll check it on a calculator quick......170 would be 14 a piece and 160 is like 13 So closer to 25-30 range sorry.

Haha Still its a terrably good feeling.

And why is the back one not good anymore?

RE: Robbin The Hood.

its risky, It may be cracked somewhere, if worse comes to worse, I can still use it but why pull it apart if you dont have to?

RE: Robbin The Hood.

Because 15 bucks in an arrow is not worth sitting inside another arrow where i cannot use it....and everytime I have shot robbin hoods I just pull em apart and keep shooting the back ones. Nothins happend to me yet.I have had some arrows gothrough a lot worse stuff....I mean a LOT worse and I still shot them after inspection of course and they shot just dandy....
