My theory(completely unable to prove) is that, when in hunting shots occur, group size will double. Probably not much of a theory, but just something I go by.

So your 3" group at 20 yds. in your backyard, shooting on flat ground, under ideal conditions at a bag target with dots on itopens up a bit when hunting in a tree, on a cold morning, shooting at a live animal with no 'dots' painted on it's side.

Just something to think about.

Wonder what happens to that 1 foot 'group'....

My groups seem to get better the more I shoot in a session, not worse.
