Life is GREAT!!!
Earlier today, a neighbor came over to talk bowhunting. We talked about a lot of bowhunting related things and then he told me he had almost a whole deer left in the freezer. Said they would be eating more than usual to get rid of it before the season opened to ensure he stayed within the law. I jokingly told him that I was out and I felt sooo bad that they would have to eat all that. Well he came back over with some ground and a couple roasts.
Then my wife asked me what I wanted for my BDay dinner. I said since it was a rainy/drizzly day, we should make up some of my chili. She went to the store to get everything and I cooked up a batch with the venison, sausage, and bacon. We just got done eating a bunch of it and I'm feeling like nothing could go wrong the rest of the day. Just had to share (as I pass gas). Be thankful we don't have the smellernet! |

It was an attempt to keep people from killing more than they intended to consume. The law abiding hunters aren't the problem though, it's the poachers.
