Easton Axis Hunting Arrows N-Tube - Noisy?
I just got a dozen of the Easton Axis Hunting Arrows (n-tube) with blazer vanes. They shoot great...straight as a dart.
This is my issue...they seem to make more noise than my Beman ICS hunters when pulled back across my fall away rest...almost a grating sound. They are advertised as having a micor smooth surface to eliminate noise, and I am experiencing just the opposite.
Does anyone else have these arrows? Have you had a similiar experience? Is there a way to quiet them down (maybe something on the fall away rest) or should I go to a whisker biscuit or similiar rest?
Thanks

My wife shoots the regular st axis arrows. Pretty much any arrow is going to make noise when draw across a rest regardless of the material of the rest or the arrow. The most common thing to use is mole skin on your rest or thin piece of felt. Takes care of the noise when drawing and if you put it on the riser it will help elliminate the noise of your arrow clanking agains your riser.
