I am thinking three and a half, just want to see what you guys think. I dont care about the score, I am going to shoot him anyways if the majority says three.

If he lived here, I’d put him as a great 1.5 or a small 2.5, but since you are in NC, he’s probably 2.5 or 3.5.

I would guess 3.5. He has large hams and a fairly deep chest. Especially when you compare him to the yearling in the photo.

That is a good picture to do this with. By looking at the spike's body sizeand then the body size of the buck you are after, I would say 2.5.

I just looked back at the other trail cam photos of this buck. You should post those too. He definitely looks at least 3.5 in the other pics...at least to me.

Me, too. "If" he's 2.5....he's a stud 2.5yr old. I stick by 3.5, though.

I would say 3.5. He has a somewhat sag in his stomach, and there's a definite droop between the top of his shoulders and his hind end. The neck is quite long, but like Ryan said, you are in NC.

I'd say it has more to do with the time of year than it's location. His neck won't look so long in about2 1/2months.

Exactly....even a 1.5 wont look like that come this winter
