What boots do you bowhunt in?
 

I am looking for a new pair of boots, specifically wolverine, and was wondering what you guys wear when your out huntin. Also, would there be a point in getting the steel toe option?

I usually where Rocky's. And in the early season i sometimes where tennis shoes ;), but this year i plan on getting a good set up rubber boots.

There a pretty nice boot for 45 bucks!!! They have a sporty sole, and fit nice. I only have the 600 gram thinsulate, but they work great until early november!!

I have a pair of Wolverines that I wear for late season hunting. They are insulated and have the scentlok feature, i cant remember the name of the model but they fit great and provide really good support. Great boots and Wolverineslast for a long time. I also have a pair of cabelas boots that are uninsulated and lighter weight that i use for early season when it is warmer out.

As far as the steel toe option, I cant really see much use for that in a hunting boot, unless you plan on wearing them to work also! :eek:

I got some cheap knee high rubber boots for warm weather and some insulated lacrosse alpha burly's for cold weather

Just some simple insulated rubber boots (OD Green) that are about mid shin in length. Did a wonderful job last year.

When it gets cold I am an Alpha Burly Guy as well.

I use the same muck boots for hunting and ice fishing. They're light enought to get around the woods quickly, quietly, and w/ minimum effort, but warm enough to sit on ice all day long ice fishing.

You can put them on and take them off without using your hands and they feel like sneakers on your feet. I'll never use anything else.

I wear Wolverins for early elk hunting. Light weight and comfy. Like a tennis shoe! In the Whitetail woods I use Muck boots. And gor general western hunting there is always a pair of Danners on my feet!

I've owned a ton of different boots and most have not done what they should of, specially when you the spend the money there asking for. This year however I'm trying a different name out. There Winchester boots and so far I love em! Comfortable, and most importantly there quite when bending with them. Time will tell if they hold up.

Another boot company that does make excellent boots is LLBeans. I don't have a pair yet but I will in the future.

I used to be a LaCrosse alpha burley fan but I tried a pair of Muck Woody Max boots last year. I haven't touched the LaCrosse boots since. Those Mucks are more comfortable than my Nikes.

I generally hunt in LaCrosse Alpha Burly sports... when it gets really cold I go to my Muck Boots Woody Max...

lacrosse alpha burly lite 3.5 roomy enough for thick wool socks and it doesnt have a bulky toe so they work well for climbing up climbing sticks. not to mention they are light weight and comfortable as can be.

I got some Alpha Burlys for early season and wet weather. I have some Rockys with a zillion grams of thinsulate for cold and some mid weight Goretex Danners for long walks. That's the ones I wear. I got a couple other pairs laying around but don't use them much.

Field & Stream 1000g Thinsulate rubber boots for regular bowhunting. For serious cold I wear Northern Outfitters Expedition boots. Bulky, but super warm!;)
