Most amazing shot for me was about 15 years ago. My buddy and I were shooting at the local archery range and I had been pestering him to let me take his sister out on a date. Well, he put a little cigarrette pack on the target and said if I could hit it from 60 yards he'd set me up with his sister. Well, as luck would have it I drilled iton the first try. The next week she and I were out on a date. Here we are 15 years later and have been together ever since and married for the past 8 years. ;)

I do stupid stuff all the time with the confidence I havein my equipment. When playing around in the yard shooting my 3d buck, I'll jokingly say i'm rack hunting and shoot a horn off him. The consequences of that, are at most, a lost arrow. [:o]

JeramyK - Great story. With that being said....its time to post a pic of you and your mate to celebrate your sucess..! Great job ...a nice way to land a soul mate...A day you will never forget I'm sure.

i have shot a dove that flew by me with my 4 year old brothers 30 lb pound bow and some walmart arrows

Sticking an 11-spot in front of a PRO, multi-time IBO Shooter of the Year, on an antelope at about 33yds!!!! RH's with 2 separate bows 3 days apart a few years ago....
The pic in my avatar......shooting a buck from above sliding that arrow just in between his shoulder blade and spine and blowing straight through the heart at 14yds. |
