In the thumb I walk 750 yards during bow...during gun I drive my Sportsman right to the edge of the woods

Near home...I walk 50 yards in one spot and 100 yards to the other.

During bow season I'm anywhere from 300 yards to .5 mile depending on the stand. I'm typically hunting out of a a climber, so it really varies to where the deer are (hopefully). During gun season, I have about .5 mile walk to my normal gun stand....but the drive in is a good 10 miles off the black top to stay away from the clowns.

My closest stand is around 100 yards, and my farthest stand is about 600 yards.

I suspect a lot of folks on here have a hard time with distances. LOL If you're hunting 50-100 acres it's pretty hard to walk 1000 yards. LOL

Shortest walk is about 300 yards, longest about 3/4 mile.

It all depends. I put 200 yards because my couple of honey holes are that close. The funny thing is, all the weekend warriors walk right past me to the field edge (because that's what they see all the pro's do on the hunting shows.) They've yet to figure out to get to them, they have to pass by me.
