Hard to beat an MQ-1 !! I paid a little over $500 back in ' 98 for mine. I liked it too much to get rid of it, so when I bought a new bow I gave my MQ-1 to my dad.

I' ve had a MQ1 for a few years now, and I love it. I fell in love with a Legacy that I shot a few weeks ago, but to be honest, I couldn' t see that much difference in it from mine, to warrant shelling out the bucks.

I picked up a 2002 MQ-1 from a buddy for $350.00. I don' t know how much the price has dropped on them yet, but I can tell you this is one nice shooting bow. It has a very smooth draw and holds rock solid on target. I would highly recommend it if you can find one for a good price.

I am in agreement with everyone here. I hunt with an MQ1 and I love it. I work for a Large Mathews and Hoyt Dealer and I can shoot any bow I want (of the lines we carry of course) I still use my MQ1. Sometimes you just link to a bow and it feels like part of your arm. As far as Discounting them? I think you may find one discounted at a dealer if he has one in stock since they are no longer offered from Mathews. You might want to check multiple dealers if you don' t mind traveling to get one.

Yep. I was in my office, minding my own business and my bowshooting buddy stopped by to visit for a few minutes. He mentioned that he was selling his MQ-1 if I knew anybody that was looking. I wasn' t really looking for a new bow, but when he told me he would let it go for $350.00 I told him I wanted to shoot it. He and I shoot identical draw length, so it was already set up for me. I took it home and knew I was buying it before I finished shooting the first group. All he got back the next day was his accessories and my $350.00. :D

He keeps at least three bows at all times and this one was used strictly for hunting. It' s in brand new condition. Can ya' ll tell I' m excited over this???[:-]

Keep shopping around Bogobble. Hope you find a good deal.
