Calling all Elk Hunters
I was just wondering how many people are elk hunting this year? And if you would like to have a contest? If We get enough members to participate I will be glad to host.
Thanks

I'll be elk hunting, only after my buddys kill, since I'm the volunteer videographer! SO, I might not get to do much "hunting"!! Not too interested in a elk contest!

Alright I just thought I would throw it out there. If I do get 10 peeps to commit I will put together something! Good Luck on your hunts!

RE: Calling all Elk Hunters
Alright we have a few guys.. I would like to have at least 5 teams of two. I will be gone most of september, so I wouldn't update anything until I get back from Idaho. I was thinking a simple points system.
1 pt. for a spike
2 pts - cow
3 pts - 3 point bull
4 pts - 4 pont bull
5 pts - 5 point bull
6 pts - 6 point bull
etc.
And then a measurement for the widest part of the rack.
0-20" 1 pt.
21-30" 2 pt.
31-40" 3 pt.
41-50" 4 pt.
51-60" 5 pt.
61 plus 6 pt.
Count the side that has the most points. Rember this is just for fun. I will do my best and I expect the same from all who participate. Pictures with you, elk and bow. And don't forget your tag! A couple more people and we can get this started!
