Question about bedding areas

How can you tell the difference between a doe bedding area and a buck bedding area? I'm still a newbie at thisso any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Question about bedding areas

A buck will leave a bigger mark on the ground! :D

Ok, seriously though...a buck's bedding area/home range will have all the signs that he's been there...a lot of rubs, some scrapes, and larger piles of poo.

RE: Question about bedding areas

A bucks bedding area is far less likely to have varying size other beds in the vicinity. If you start to chuckle to yourself and think there is no way to kill this deer if it is bedded in this location,(meaning the bedded animal has every advantage, wind, sight, terrain, escape routes) you are on to some thing. For the most part think thick and nasty cover.
