does Vanilla make deer interseted or is it useless
I thought of getting some Vanilla to use for some cover scent to to pull deer to my stand

would it work

my brother in law has used vanilla for years as a cover and as an attractant. he had been very successful at killing 1.5 year old buck. but here in MI thats about all we have.

i do not use it because i would rather have no unnatural odors around me.

I think it's more of a curiousity scent. Something that though unnatural, isn't alarming at the same time. Curiousity scents are meant to maybe stop deer at a specific spot or draw a deer that's on the outside limit of shooting range, into shooting range.

It attracts bees and gnats in the early season. I used it as a cover scent once, never again.
