LOL... I'm the one who washes and dries the clothes EVERY time, every week.... all year long -- so I think she's pretty aware I know how to use both appliances. ;)

It's called "divide and conquer" and I HATE doing dishes, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, folding clothes, sweeping, mopping or generally anything else other than picking my own stuff up, so I'm happy to empty the clothes hampers into the washing machine, tranfser them to the drier and take them upstairs for her to fold. :)

Ialready have, and they're placed in scent lok bags. I have everything ready........ bow, arrows, climber, back pack, and the mental game is there.

My wife does not let me do the laundry except my hunting cloths. She knows not to touch them.

She stopped me doing laundry when she saw me load the washer with everything, no seperation. Guys, you just need to know how to not have to do it anymore. ;) :D

If i dont wash my own clothes, te\hey stay dirty, im 15 and my mom dont do nothing other than food/shelter/ other things im gratful for, but no laundry.

Like Rob, I bought the wife a new washer & dryer and I'm not allowed to touch them other than when I hooked them up. It's terrible! I can't wash clothes, I can't wash the dishes, can't vacuum, none of that stuff. [:@] You guys are so lucky to "help" with the household chores.:eek:

I've always done my own clothes for as long as we've been together. I just don't like anyone else doing it for me. I've recently started doing some for my wife and kids on occasion. Keeps me out of trouble. ;)

Yeah, I too have alreadywashed mine, got them in containers and loaded in the travel trailer and hauled to the ranch last week, I am ready to go!!!!....I dont wash too many other clothes than my hunting clothes!!!!

Iwash mine whileshe is sleeping. She really doesn't like me messing around with her washer and dryer. Might have something to do with drying my snow boot liners after I crashed through the ice a couple years ago. I forgot to take care of it right away so there was no time to wash and dry. I just threw them in the dryer while I got ready for a morning hunt. They smelled a little marshy coming out of the dryerbut were toasty anddry for a cold morning hunt. Good cover scent I was thinking. :)

She did a load of whites first thing that morning while I was gone. I came home to a very, very mad wife rewashing the whites. Seemed the dryer turned a tiny green on the insidefrom marshy liners. :eek: After she pulled the "greenish" whitessmelling ofmarshy freshness out of the dryer...she spent a good bit of time scrubbing it out to get allthe green dried scum out. I wasn't her favorite little hunter when I got home. [&:] [:o]

I know when I was married I washed them while she was at work.:D I too played stupid and did laundry when she asked for help. I didn't seperate whites from colors and that was the last time I got to do the laundry!

I do all the time, I have no problems runnign the washer and dryer I bought for my wife. Sure she may do 99% of the wash but if I need hunting clotes washed, I do it, if Im not able to then the wife will gladaly do it for me, and she even uses my fresh earth soap and dryer sheets :D, she knows i hate to smell good when i go hunting...:D

As Solocamcan's wife, reading this thread, I had to have some input. Let's just say that I know hunting season is near when I actually see him USING the washer/dryer. -- That is the only time I see him doing anything related to household appliances!! :)

Hunting clothes been done a couple weeks now.

I don't do regular laundry often, but I'm certainly not banned from it either. If she's busy, I pick up some slack, no biggie.

I've been washing dirty undies since 1973. I got out of the Army and opened 3One Hour Martinizers. I was in the dry cleaning and laundry business for 30 years. I ended up doing most of the washing in our family. I've always washed my own hunting clothes and tried all sorts of concoctions in doing so.[&:]

My stuff is clean, and hanging outside...has been since last season. I have a room on the back of my garage, used to be a greenhouse type thing, and I hang all my stuff out there year round. Its all windows on three sides, so they are wide open 24/7, works out very well for me.
