RE: muzzy phantom
Take out the bleeder and sharpen the blade. You can sharpen the bleeder also or buy new bleeder blades.

RE: muzzy phantom
what do you use to sharpen them?

RE: muzzy phantom
I use a whetstone. I have a short shaft with an insert in it and screw on the broadhead and sharpen it that way, like a knife edge or I sometimes use this tool:

Phantoms are excellent broadheads. strong, sharp, accurarate and the penetrate well. I also use the KME tool to sharpen all my broadheads.

I had them, I shot them, I dont like them. Too eradic for my setup, not to mention they dont hold up very well if you happend to hit bone or miss and hit the ground. Go with the Muzzy MX4's youll be happy you did. But you can try them, maybe theyll work for you, they sure in the hell didnt with me.

they do kinda seem like they would be prone to bend.

RE: muzzy phantom
I have not used them on game but have practices with them. They seemed real nice. Personally I liked the smaller bleeders on the stingers better. If I were using a compound though, I'd prpbably use the Phantoms.
