What should I do about washing my camo? Just use the scent free detergent and hope for the best?

Just use baking soda, wring out, and air dry.

You could always wash it by hand. You know, like the good old days.
Just use baking soda, wring out, and air dry.

Go out and get yourself a big box of bakingsoda and run the machine threw its wash cycle with no clothes just put the whole box of baking soda inside the machine before you start it. After that is done wash your clothes in another box of baking soda and hang dry!

I buy the unscented Sport Wash detergent and wash 2 or 3 loads of my regular clothes with that before I wash my hunting stuff. I can say that I do not smell detergent after that. However that doesn't guarantee the deer can't.
