Congrats again Rob. That's a long time to wait for a mount, but well worth it. Your taxidermist does a great job of capturing the realism in turkey mounts. The mount looks great and really shows off the bird.

Thanks Brett, I'm really please with the way he turned out. I think Chris (taxi) is as well. When he called me to tell me it was done I asked, "So how gorgeous is it.", he replied, better than I would have hoped.

quiksilver, he nailed the detail didn't he. He did this in all 4 birds. Thanks.

Bowtech 360, I love the color. I think when he finds his final home when I remoldel the basement for the man cave I'll have to add a light to showcase his color.

Sliverflicker, thanks on both comments, the hero shot and mount. I'm particulaly fond of that hero shot as well as this one of the same bird. ;)



Bry, I did wait a little longer than usual for this mount. His turn around is usually 14 months, this one was 16 months but once home, it's forever so I was patient especially because I'm not sure where to put him. I'm not done remodeling/finishing the basement. You'll have to get up this way sometime to shoot and visit.

Great bird Rob. Seriously, after looking at this mount his work is almost comparable to Cally Morris. I know he's going to laugh when you tell him that but he is on the fast track to being that good.
