1. At this one shop, S and S taxidermy, this guy does really great work. The price for a shoulder mount is $495.00. Here is the link to see more prices and most likely pictures, www.sstaxidermy.com

2. Good luck getting a trophy to have mounted this season.

rybo and I use the same guy, I remember seeing Ryans non-typical in his shop when I was there.

Price is $335 and the great part is that he can usually have your deer back to you within 3-4 months, atleast he does for my buddy and I. Any fish we take to him is back within 1-1/2 to 2 months.

Paid $350 for this one, but the guy who done it went up to $400 I think. His work is probaby one of the most respected in NC and SC. I don't have a close up loaded on phototbucket, but where his work really excels over the rest is the amount of detail he puts in carving the face. None of his deer have the "soda can snout" they all have every ridge, and vien carved out.

My taxidermist charges $385.00 but your 10th deer mount is cost of materials too. He just finished #8 for me. Sure hope my luck hasn't ran out yet.

ORIGINAL: GMMAT

2006 buck (on the left) was $420. 2007 buck (on the right) was $460.

Keith has won several national titles for his work, though....and I couldn't be happier with them.

Wow! $420 and $460 for those, Don't get me wrong they look good but IMO I would have done euro mounts.
