RE: blazer vanes and whisker biscuits

I have found over the years that Blazer vanes are in fact the very best fletch to use with the WB rest. They hold up well, and seem to recover faster. I have shot a lot of fletching through the WB rests and Blazers are the way to go.

I've been getting fletchings ripped for a long time but LOVE my WB. This has been the most helpful thread I've found in a long time. I'll be going to get some Blazers put on tomorrow! Thanks to everyone for their input.

I myself used to shoot a whisker biscuit and blazers. When I shot 4" vanes, the longer vanes would get worn and disfigured. The 2" blazers are much more durable and hold up better than the longer 4" vanes.

Like others have said, blazers are very rigid and they work very well for me with my WB. And I also saw a show yesterday with Chris Brackett and I noticed his vanes were blazers. He was using a drop away rest but still, if hes happy with using them, then so am I.
