The thing I like about it is that even with my 2 piece, it's detachable. Also, while in the stand, you can have another arrow "at the ready" much easier. You can unhook the shaft part of the arrow and the magnets will hold it in place...that way, if a follow up shot is needed, you can grab another arrow and get it out of the quiver with only one hand.

I don't see why people are acting like $130 quiver is a crazy amount of money. I've spent more on watches, clothes andgas. ;)
Jeff, post up some pics of it on your bow. |

I never made the connection. Thanks Mr. Obvious. You are a real "life saver". LT I believe what makes these rascals so expensive is the earth magnet that holds your arrows. They are pretty bad ass. What's so cool about them is you don't have to slide your broadhead in and out of foam, dulling the blades. The magnet is strong enough to make contact w/ only the tip of the head and hold it fast. I believe you could drop the quiver and not have the arrows fall out. Of course, they have the rubber holders down the shaft as well, same as most other quivers. |

Oh I didn't pay $130;)......and it's simply a great quality accessory....that I "wanted".
"Disposable" is in the eyes of the money clip holder. I had the means and wanted it. I'll hold onto this setup for quite a while....and I want it to be a certain way. I can fully understand if some/many don't come to the same conclusion (financially speaking). They aren't for everyone (at the price they command). That fact takes nothing away from the quality of this piece of gear. That part isn't a question. It IS a little on the heavy side, though. No question. |

RE: Review: All you need to know about Octane quivers
I have been fondling them for a couple months now, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have last year's Bowtech quiver, which is pretty mediocre at best. The best attachment system IMO is still Fuse, but the detachable two-piece Octane is pretty sweet. My arrows are so long that I take my quiver off in the tree all the time because they hang about 4" below the bottom limb, but the two piece would allow me to move them farther up toward the top limb, may just have to get one...
