I made a really long arrow today!
 

So my wife gets home from work (early shift) I go out to practice some more. and low and behold...My first Robin Hood. i can tear fletching up just about every time out but this was my first.

My first and only robin hood, I was shooting at Gander Mountain. As soon as I heard the knock bouncing across the floor, I uttered a word not approptiate for this forum. Another guy shooting saw it and asked why I wasn't excited. Arrows are expensive!

I was warming up for a 3d tourney and got one at 40 yards in a cross wind on my 2nd shot at the 40 yard target. I got lots of "Wow what a great shot!" and "thats the first 40 yard robin hood I have ever seen" etc.... all I could think about was I only brought 6 arrows to the tourney and now I was down to four!![:@]

yea that one wasn't at any great distance ...about 23 yards.
