Pulled the cards today, exactly what i had hoped for. I was a little off on the size in my intial post, I thought these deer were bigger.[8D]

RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
WoW.....nice looking deer.....i really liked the albino..
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
albino? sweet
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
As far as I can tell he's pure albino, I'm def. targeting him this year.
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
That one in the 4th photo looks like one ofthe 2.5yr olds we saw the other night.
I'd say from the photos that the white deer isn't a true albino, also. Nevertheless.....he's a beautiful animal.....and I'd take him if I had the opportunity. He'd make a beautiful full body mount. The wide guy is also a good deer for our parts, Brandon. Good luck with them. |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Nice looking Buck and the albino is a definate plus for the picture album
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
If he's not albino, then what is he? I never seen a deer like this so I have absolutely no experience.
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
I'm notsaying he "isn't". I'm saying I don't think he is....based on just these photos. A true albino would have pink eyes and mouth/nose areas (complete lack of pigmentation). If he isn't an albino.....I'm assuming he's considered a piebald.
I sure hope I'm wrong....but I'm just not seeing it. I also don't think it really matters!;) He's beautiful.:) |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Its a piebald, great pics!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Heck no it don't matter:D. I'd be tickled to death to see him up close and personnel and if given the opportunity I'll def. do him justice with a full body mount.
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
I dont care if hes albino, piebald, or dosed in bleach....he looks awesome!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
That is cool!!!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
I'm stoked:D.
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Yes, he looks to be a Piebald. But he would still be a rare trophy!;)
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Piebald vs. an albino, the pics do look like a piebald, unless those darkened areas are glare or dirt. Either way, that'd be a dead deer if I got any possible opportunity at it, as it likely may be for any of us, IF LEGAL!!!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
very nice bucks u got there
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
amazing...I've never seen one in the wild....does anyone on this forum realize how awesome this is? To get a pic like that of a white deer? Not a common thing....great job!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
ORIGINAL: Sliverflicker Its a piebald, great pics! There are piebald, white deer and albinos...with that very little brown he's carrying, it's a piebald. Awesome deer and I'd personally hunt him exclulsively. |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
WOW! I've never seen a picture of a live piebald/albino deer!!! Nice! I'd hunt him exclusively also!
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Truly amazing pictures
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Thanks, he's got my full attention that's for sure.

RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
I must shake my head at times.
![]() Every one here says what a great find, a truly amazing deer,a very rare find. Yet every one wants to kill it. Like many other things in life, treasure is best kept to yourself. If I have gold on my land, I would be the last to say a word until the gold was all mine. The same should be though about before you post pictures of the pretty girl that just moved in down the road.;) There is a story in the last "Bow hunter" magazine about what happens when to many people hunting the same prize. Good luck with your adventure , Jim |

RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
i almost didn't post pictures, but I enjoy watching the deer and I thought you might as well. There is more important things in life than any deer. If someone steals my gold, so be it. I'll take one of the 32 does that I've been watching and enjoy hunting, not gold mining.
Edit- there is so many people around here that have seen this deer that you guys on the internet are the least of my worries. |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
This first pic is of my "gold mine". The second pics is after I was done the "mining".;):D

Nice EI, I hope I'm given the same opportunity.

RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
What are his chances of making it through the season between hunters and predators?
|
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
You just might be surprised at what others will do to suppress your chances at this buck. Posting land ,leasing land its unlimited.
People will travel miles and pay what ever for a chance like that. All I'm saying is "loose lips sink ships". Here in PA he wouldn't make till the season opened anyway.[:@] |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
Mine was taken on public land. You just need to act on a timely basis!;)

RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
I def. understand that Jim. As I eluded to in my other post I'd be surprised if he made it until the season. But if he does, I like my chances of at least seeing him.
Edit - You guys be sure to tell everyone that this pic is from my trailcam in KY:D!! |
RE: Trailcam photos, got something special here!!!!!
It's the same way here as well. Even if the land was posted someone would find a way to get it anyways. I will be setting my camera up next week to try and capture 3 different piebalds in a field if possible. They have been seen quite a few times this year so hopefully I can lure one or 2 into the camera. I do have a pic from this past spring taken on my camera though of one of them though and some said it had some antler growth on it the last tine it was seen.
