Get the sit and climb. Yes it's worth it. If you ever injur your arms, wrists or shoulders you will need that sit and climb. You can still just use your arms to climb but it's nice to have options. The sit bar also doubles as a backward seat for those stands where you want to face the tree.

I'd say yes. I too was unsure of how "bowhunter friendly" the sit and climb would be compared to the hand climber. But it has proven to be very bowhunter friendly. Just pull the bar under the seat and secure withthe bungee and you have an open front stand that you can shoot out of standing or sitting. The frame for the seat sits low enough to not be in the way either, a big plus for me. And I imagine the sit and climb seat is much more comfy, although I haven't used the hand climber but do have an alpha loc on with a similar seat to the hand climber. I hunted all day out of mine last year several times and that was with the old seat, they have a new seat now. I just picked up one although I haven't used it yet, but it seems very comfy too.
