I am not a Nuge fan but I have a buddy that lives in NE Indiana that shoot a lot of tourney's etc. and is an excellent shot. he said he was shooting at a course or range (can't remember) with Ted a few years back and he said that Ted was outshooting everyone there with their tourney rigs out 60-70 yards. I wasn't there and don't watch his show but I was always under the impression that he was a heck of a shot.

I`m sure he is but again if you dont use sights youre only cheating yourself, theres no pride in inconsistancy

Well if you're sighted in well enough to hit a deer in the heart and blow pass thru it then nothing that I can say is going to benefit you. Your skill level is way above mine.

i do not believe that using sights is a must. my brother in law has never used sights with his compound. he shoots excellent. with practice he can even shoot long distances with his bow as well as i can with sights.

to say that he has no accuracy would be stupid. everyone mises. or has a lapse in form from time to time. if you can shoot without sights more power to you... ever hear of Danand Guy Fitzgerald.. they do not use sights.. or at least they did not for a long time.

Dude you underestimate how well the pioneers of this sport could shoot when all they had in there day was a recurve or longbow to choose from. I have old videos that prove it. A sight guarantees nothing when it comes to shooting at a live animal. In fact there are probably several instinctive shooters who could out shoot you with no sites. Your time to CHOKE is coming. Hope you can live with yourself afterwards..LOL
