Rut N Apples- Evolved Habitats
Here is my First negative review of an Evolved Habitats product this year. It looks good and I understand the theory of the apple pellets, but it didnt produce in 4 nights. Then we had a heavy rain. The pellets broke down and it looked liek a powder. Then 2 days went by and I went back to find to piles of huge mold. It smelled and was a feasting ground for bacteria. I should to send it back and complain to them, but I am going to wait until I see what their other products do for me.

One thing that you need to realize is that your location can have a huge effect on how "baits" work. The deer here in SC aren't used to apples because there are none. So, if I tried this product and it didn't work for the first time, would I be surprised? No.
If I were you I would have mixed it in with some corn at first. Get the deer used to it. And just because "your" deer don't like it doesn't mean its a bad product. Perfect example is their BuckJam. I have one tract of land where I use about ten gallons of it a year. The go crazy over it. Another tract of land just a short ride away they won't touch it. |

I'm not a big believer in all these products that hit the market every year, but I have had some great results with Cmore buck in the powder form from EH....give it a try and tell me what you think....
