Usually not. If I'm with my brother he'll grab 'em up and take them home. I don't eat them.

I never keep it I just don't like it. My great uncle who has passed on used to love it. He always on open morning of gun season ( didn't bowhunt ) gave everyone a ziplock bag to put it in if the harvested a deer.

There give away's to a few hunting friends.
I never thought much of eating a blood pump or a blood filter - yuk!

the heart taste much like steak .....so ocassionaly I will eat it

i dont keep it, but i know lots of people who keep the liver for catfishing.
