Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
I got some "free" money to spend at Cabelas, I'm buying the FMJ's. In the description it looks like they use X-nocks, but in the Easton Tracer description it blatantly leaves out that the x-nock version fits the FMJ's. No reasonthey shouldn't work is there?

Gr8, they work fine. I have FMJs and using the X nock tracer nocks in them now.

RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
The X nock is the one you want.
Have you looked at Firenocks? No magnet required. |
RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
I have the Tracer X-nocks installed on my 340 FMJ's, and they work great, no twisting and breaking like the Lumenocks.

RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
The x nock weighs 9 grains so that would only put them at 22 grains.
So we have a bit of a discrepancy:),so which is it,22 or 39? I would imagine they would be fairly heavy. |
RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
I can only quote the book. It says it adds 13 grains to the nock. Gimme a week to get them in, and I can give you an actual weight.

Which book is that? I have the Easton catalog as well as the Archery Redhead and can't find it in either.
If I go with the FMJ's,I would try them if only 13 grains heavier but my foc would suffer too much at 30 grains heavier. |
RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
Thanks Jake, that is what I suspected but was hoping for lighter.[8D]

RE: Easton Tracer Nocks for FMJ's
The Lumenock says approx 10 grains heavier than a standard, I can't imagine the Easton being much different.
