Only bad thing is they start showing up and multiply

I hunt some property on the east coast and never seen one the first 6 years hunted, the last 4 see more and more every year

I've never understood why a bear tag is included with my VA hunting license until now! I have had neighbors up the road tell me thay cant keep them away from their yard...I guess Im allowed to take one! Thats cool you saw one. I would be prepared to take him when you are in that area. That is if your state tags include a bear tag!

where in sw pa are you? we had one here in Hopewell twp beaver county about 2 weeks ago. the bear popped up in a few places for about 3 days in a row and now has not been seen since. could be the same one maybe if you are close to here.
Greene County, Pennsylvania. A couple miles past the West Virginia/Pennsylvania State Line.
My hunting buddy and I have 2 cameras out and have gotten 3 different pictures of a bear on different occasions. Not sure if it's the "same" bear or not, hard to judge based on the different pics and clarity.

How does that make you feel going out to your stand in complete darkness? Nice pic though!
I love the thought of it..........it really gets me pumped. Too bad my intentions are to harvest a 150 class whitetail but to see something different while sitting 20 foot in a tree is OK with me too. If you were wanting to know if I will be looking over my shoulder on my way to my treestand in total darkness..........NOT AT ALL, they (bear) are moreafraid of you than you are of themand will smell you before you get 100 yards from them.

What a cool find on your cam! I also live in an area where bears are spotted very infrequently, but I always thought it would be cool to get one on camera. Thanks for sharing!
