You know any bow if properly tuned will shoot straight and kill a deer. Ask folks who bow hunt in your area what bow shop they reccomend. In my area, I been to several but only one is worth spending my money there. Just sent a good friend of mine to that bow shop with a bow that never got released to the public. He has called me three times already for reccommending that shop because he wasted to much money at others and still had a bad set up.

Gander Mountainis a good solid place to start or you can check out Dicks Sporting Goods also. The Diamond line is pretty reasonable starting from the edge to the Justice to the Rock on up to the Liberty. All pun intended, the Rock is a solid buy. :D

I shoot the Black Ice because I was overcome by its awe inspiring beauty. I am actually hoping they will shorten and lighten up the Marquis by about an inch and a few ounces for next year. Be careful man or you will get sucked in like me! [8D]

pahunter60,
I just bought a Bear lights out for $299 at Gander. Great bow for the money. Also, D**k's Sporting Goods has the Bear Element on sale for $199 which i understand is also a good bow.
Magnus Stingers are $24 for 3 and are broadhead with a good reputation
