How many robin hoods have you got over the years you have been bowhunting or just target shooting?

I got one at 40 and one at 30. I try not to anymore:D

ZERO...ever. My practice routine has always been "1 good arrow at a time".

I've never gotten one. It may have something to do with the fact that I only shoot broadheads? I've screwed up nocks before, and taken off numerous fletchings. This is as close as I get to doing it.

Well, a TRUE robinhood is one arrow in the "X" then the second arrow splits the first. Given that definition, I've only done it once. But I don't shoot at X's often, I shoot at alot of golf tees. Aim small, miss small. That's the idea anyway. But in general terminology, I've probably split......a dozen or so.

2, and they both happened a few years ago, both happened in the same year, Ivery seldom shoot "groups" now.

3 robin hoods for me. I did 2 back to back in one evening with my compound shooting league. The other one was done with my recurve practicing at home on my deer target. All 3 times they were dead on shots.

Thankfully none. I tried to avoid them as much as I can, arrows are too expensive. I don't a robinhood to tell me how well I can shoot. Just me though, some people try for em.

There's no telling how many I'd have if I'd kept shooting plain nocks and didn't switch to bushings a few years ago to protect the back end of my arrows -- in other words, I don't want to keep buying more arrows. I can tell you this, though... my bushings are beat to heck and some have some dang deep grooves in them. ;)I can't count how many nocks I've replaced over the last few years.

Luckly only one at 25 yards. Since then i have switched to shooting one arrow at each stop on the target.

Several....before, like Greg, I switched to pin bushings.

I don't shoot much at the same spot,either.....andNEVER with BH's;)

4...and now I dont try to. I got one the while I was purchasing my bow from the shop. Went to take a couple shots in the range and THWACK!!! Needless to say I did end up getting hte bow:D

Now thats some awesome grouping with broadheads man! be carful you don't hit one of your arrows with them razor blades:D

BHB hasn't got any since he swithched over to blemished ted nudgent snow camo arrows!

I have gotten6 or7 but they have all occurred while I was shooting arrows other than my ACC's. I have only gotten 1 with ACC's but I have torn up a bunch of nocks and a bunch of bushings. I have shot ACC's at least 80% of the time since 92 or 93 (can't really remember which year I started shooting them) but it seems like it's a lot harder to Robin Hood an ACC because of the bushing. JMO.

Here is one I got with my HH longbow last year. This is the only one I still have proof of. :D

Why do the arrows there have different color vanes, 1 has 2 red 1 whie and the other has 2 white 1 red.

ive shot 2 , but at 20 yards i dont shoot at the same circle anymore because every time i hit another arrow and thats like 12 bucks down the drain[:@]

Just the way I made them I guess. No reason in particular that I can think of anyway. BTW, they are feathers, can't shoot vanes on that particular bow.

Surprisingly, I actually had several, but mostly when I was young stud and rock solid and when I shot FINGERS. Now what's up with that. Since I switched to a release and carbons.... nadda. Might be too because I now install ACC nock insertson all my arrows. If creates a little flange that makes a lot of arrows slide off after tearing up the nock and adapter. Besides that, I try to spread my arrows out now at different spots. When I shot 2314s Super Slams you could tear up a lot of arrows if you tried. It's too expensive now to be busting up $15 arrows.

I haven't split any arrows yet, but have busted many nocks/arrows, from close calls.

only happened when I was new to bowhunting....then I learned not to shoot at the same point.

So early on maybe 3 or 4? quickly fixed that problem.

:DI have only done one throughout my yeas, but that has been plenty enough!! !!!!!![:@] I did it just after my bow was tuned!!!!! :D!!!! I DONT AIM FOR THE SAME ARROW ANYMORE!!!!!!!
