very disappointed in my new LONE WOLF!
I bought one last weekwith the backing of fellow HNI'ers andtook it to the woods yesterday along with my gps to scout and plot the opener stand. Well, it(the stand)was everything the manufacturer claimed and even more than everyone raved about. But, it had ZERO, I repeat, ZEROability to keep the bugs off me. "sigh"... if only it could, it'd be perfect.
Seriously, is there anything else you can ask for in a stand? Holy mother of ease of set-up, ease of climb, quiet, lightweight, flat folding, and did I mention ease of... oh yea I did, just can't say enough about it.
Goodbye squeaky clunky summit. (no offense, I just found better, waaaaay better)

Welcome to the club.
You'll never go back.. and you forgot to mention the safety. It's lightweight and ease to hang make it such a safe stand.. a feature I greatly appreciate.

For MY hunting....I'll stick with my Summit. The Summit's are way more comfortable. I've sat in both, and I just can't justify it for ME. Some guys like them and think they are great, and they are, but not for me. The hang-ons and climbing sticks are top notch as well but once again, for the hunting that I do, I can't justify it. I'll stick to my Viper SS.

I am teaching myself almost everything with hunting,(except for what i learn here) and the lone wolf alpha hang on and climbing sticks I bought have given me more confidence and mobility then i ever could of imagined.

My LWhang on is not comfortable in comparison to my millenium or my gorilla's, but dang its easy to set up and I can put it on any tree imaginable! I love it and can't imagine not having it on certain properties I hunt.
