That settles it, I GOTTA learn how to do that. Greg, those look INCREDIBLE! What color fletching is going on?
LOL! Here's a CLASSIC example of two guys receiving the same information, and one applying it. ;):D

Greg, tell him where you learned to do that... [8D]

Oh, I KNOW where he learned. Have you no fear, I'll be pulling that thread up again. I'm also going to buy that building the perfect arrow dvd, because I learn better by seeing....;)

By the way, great-lookin' arras you're gonna have there, Jeff... just had to give mobow a hard time. :D

Thanks, Greg....and Greg;)

Hopefully....I'll have 2yrs worth, there. I tnd to shoot a lot of them, though;) Funny....in '06 I shot less....killed less....and broke 3-5 arrows IN deer. In '07.....(switched to a/c/c's) and broke none......bending ONE.

It seems the extra cost is also added value.;)

I love hand-crested arrows. Greg - those look fantastic!

This year, I'm a little pressed on time - I'm thinking about just taping them offand mistingthe shafts (instead of dipping) with spray lacquer.

Any thoughts?

RE: Arrows - Looky here.

Fran I have no idea. This is the only way I've ever tried. I learned this from Greg/MO and his thread. All I use is Krylon spray and Testors model paint. I would think masking and spraying would work just fine. actually I think I'll try and see.

what type of weight does it add? is the weight constant to each arrow?

RE: Arrows - Looky here.

I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure it adds less than wraps. I will bring a couple of arrows to work tomorrow and weigh them in the science dept and let ya'll know. I believe the weight will be consistent since the same pattern is going on each arrow. I only crested 1/2 doz of my own arrows so I have some that are not yet painted and can do the weight comparison.
